Ecosystem Updates :-

Immutable partners with Polygon to integrate zkEVM tech:

Immutable and Polygon have partnered to create a wave of AAA Web3 games that bring digital ownership to millions of people worldwide. Immutable is now the first gaming platform to deliver a zero-knowledge (zk) scaling solution to the Ethereum community with Immutable zkEVM, enabling game developers to protect and grow their revenue.

Developers can easily migrate their games and smart contracts from Ethereum, Polygon, and any other EVM-compatible solution without any modifications. $IMX will be used as gas for Immutable zkEVM and 20% of trades on the Immutable platform, regardless of rollup, must be paid in $IMX.

Maplestory partners with Polygon to integrate NFTs:

Nexon is collaborating with Polygon to power its in-game economy for MapleStory Universe with NFTs, allowing players to develop and manage them in the game. The game has more than 180 million registered players and has generated over $4 billion in revenue since its release in 2003. Nexon's move towards NFTs in their most valuable IP could signal a shift in large gaming companies' reluctance to integrate NFTs and crypto into their games.

CCP Games raises $40 million to develop AAA Web3 game:

CCP Games, the creator of EVE Online, has secured $40 million in financing from external partners to develop a new AAA title using blockchain technology. The project will be set within the EVE Universe and utilize smart-contract blockchain technology, focusing on persistence, composability and open third-party development. The financing was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Makers Fund, BITKRAFT, Kingsway Capital, HASHED, Nexon and additional participants. The project is separate from current and previously disclosed projects, including EVE Online.

EOS Network Ventures commits $20 million for GameFi projects:

EOS Network Ventures (ENV) has announced a commitment to invest $20 million directly into EOS EVM and GameFi projects, making it the EVM with the most funding available for builders. The goal of the commitment is to quickly establish EOS EVM as the market-leader and attract the industry's best developers and teams to build on EOS EVM.

LandVault announces strategic funding:

LandVault, the largest metaverse construction company, has raised funding from several web3 firms, including The Sandbox, Gemini Frontier Fund, HodlCo, and Kingsway Capital. The funds will be used to expand operations and invest in AI-powered tools to accelerate the creation and monetization of metaverse content.
