New Game Using Yuga’s IP 🔥

Love Tekken, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat? Then you might like this new game from nWay game developers — Wreck League.
Wreck League is a PvP fighting game that lets you craft and control your own mech fighters. In Wreck League, you become the creator and commander of your unique battle machines.
Imagine assembling your personalized mech from a variety of NFT-minted parts – arms, chest, head, legs, and more – each determining your mech's appearance and combat abilities. With a whopping 1.5 quadrillion potential combinations, no two mechs are alike! Better yet, you're not locked in – you can disassemble and recombine parts for endless customization.
Excitingly, Season 1 of Wreck League joins forces with Yuga Labs, integrating iconic collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club, and Kodas. Holders of these collections receive a free Founders Mech, adding exclusivity to their lineup.
Season 1 is just the beginning – more collaborations and thrilling updates are on the horizon. Wreck League's top-notch gameplay experience includes cross-play functionality across mobile and PC, ensuring everyone can join the action. The game's evolution encompasses both Web3 and Web2 versions, giving players the ability to manufacture in-game mechs for sale in the free-to-play Web2 build.
Avax as a Gaming Blockchain 🚀
Avax is experiencing a GameFi boom this year. We’ve seen tons of projects choose Avax blockchain to build their game. Recently, we saw Rumble Kongs migrate to Avax and Solbert Games deciding to build out their Avax subnet.
So what is so appealing about Avax as a gaming blockchain? What does it offer differently from other chains? Ever heard of subnets? They're like a secret sauce for scalability.
Let's break it down - blockchains can either scale up their speed (vertical scaling) or make copies of themselves (horizontal scaling). Subnets nail it with speedy transactions wrapping up in under a second.
Plus, they dish out up to 750 transactions per second, giving you plenty of room to host epic battles and trades. Got a knack for Solidity? Subnets play nice, saving you time and effort. Smart contracts become more efficient, keeping gas costs in check.
Picture this - new players hopping into your game without a hassle. Subnets make it real. No more convoluted processes; just swift onboarding and gameplay. But it's not all unicorns and rainbows:
Subnets rock for games, but they might not fit every blockchain need. Consider your game's unique requirements before diving in. Setting up and running a subnet isn't a walk in the park. Brace yourself for a learning curve and tech jargon.
In a nutshell, subnets spice up blockchain gaming, giving you speed, savings, and player-friendly vibes. Just remember, they're not a one-size-fits-all solution, and diving in might take some extra elbow grease
Compressed NFTs: Why They Matter 🤔
We always think of NFTs in terms of scarcity. The fewer they are in a particular collection, the more valuable they are likely to become.
But will it be the same when millions are using NFTs? Probably not!
We see projects doing 10k or 20k NFT mints. These usually cost quite a lot of money. Compared to what they raise, it might not seem that much.
But does this help with mass distribution? NFT is not going to be just PFP pictures.
NFTs will be content.
NFTs will be social engagement.
NFTs will be the new loyalty.
So if NFTs take so many forms and cater to a wider audience or masses, does it make sense to pay ridiculous amounts to simply mint them as an NFT?

Absolutely not! This is where compressed NFTs come into play.
Compressed NFTs on are NFTs Solana that use a special method to save space while keeping track of digital ownership. They store data in a clever tree structure, with the main info saved on Solana's network and the detailed bits off-chain, agreed upon by many computers. This helps save costs.
But just how much money do you save? How about 99.9%!
You heard that right. For example, to mint 1 million conventional NFTs, you would need 12,000 SOL. But if you do it the compressed way, you only require 5 SOL. This model for minting NFTs is already taking off as you can see in the chart given below.

This is still only the beginning of compressed NFTs. Why? You ask.
Because these types of NFTs are compelling for use-cases like gaming, music events, metaverse, etc. When there are hundreds of thousands of users and you’re using NFTs for various activities, we may see more projects start tapping into this new tech and improve user engagement with NFTs.
Game Updates
The Meta Cene alpha testing phase is currently underway and is set to conclude on August 7th. Players have the exciting opportunity to compete for a portion of a $25,000 prize pool.
Space Nation has unveiled its membership platform, Logistikos, which enables users to acquire WL tokens for participating in the genesis mint of Alpha Gate.
In a strategic collaboration, Intella X has joined forces with the Coinmusme development team, working towards an expansion of their gaming ecosystem.
Joining forces with the Oasys blockchain network, Bandai Namco has launched their latest virtual pet game, RYUZO, taking the gaming experience to new heights.
The Grapes has introduced Juice Tycoon as their third game, solidifying their presence within the prominent performance gaming genre.
