Mavia Builds on Base Blockchain

Further enriching the community aspect, Heroes of Mavia has initiated a player DAO, allowing $MAVIA token holders to influence the game's direction through proposals and voting.

Heroes of Mavia stands out for its engaging gameplay, where players build bases, engage in battles, and use NFTs to enhance their strategic options. With resources like Gold and Oil adding depth to the strategy, and a unique rental system for passive income, Heroes of Mavia is redefining the mobile blockchain gaming landscape.

Best Games on Avalanche

Avalanche is home for some of the best Web3 games. It offers games to create custom blockchains using its subnet technology, making scaling and onboarding effortless. New gaming ecosystems like Beam have also emerged using Avalanche as a blockchain. 

To better understand the ecosystem being built, let’s explore some of the top games and what kind of mass appeal they bring to the table. First, we have the most anticipated game in Web3: Shrapnel. It is an extraction shooter game with NFT and token integration. The game has completed its token airdrop, launched multiple NFT collections, and hosted many tournaments. The team also plans to expand their IP to comic books and short films. 

Second, we have Off the Grid. This is a traditional multiplayer shooting game that has put all economy and game progression on-chain. Available on multiple platforms, it features a rich narrative, vast arsenal, and dynamic PVP and PVE battles on Teardrop Island. The game promises an immersive, constantly engaging world, redefining gaming standards.

Besides shooting games, Avalanche also features great MMORPGs like Domi Online. Through quests, battles, and exploration, players shape their destiny and the game's evolution, with tokenization enhancing rewards, asset ownership, and community-driven governance.

Market Commentary

The market has been on a tear for the last couple of months. Since October 2023, the market has been up only. From gaming to AI, many new sectors have been thriving and putting in new ATHs. The meme vertical is also taking off, with DOGE, WIF, BONK, and PEPE leading the way.

Bitcoin is only a few percent off ATH. When this happens, we will see extreme retail interest. This will kick off a mega altcoin rally where we likely see extreme volatility and usage of leverage. As leverage increases, it also can cause frequent liquidation cascades or wipeouts. So it’s very important to deal with low leverage in such conditions. Holding a spot is the best way to have exposure.

The memecoin rally has sucked liquidity from many sectors, so it’s likely the money will flow back when they top. But it’s challenging to predict when memecoins will slow down. In 2021, Dogecoin went from one billion to ten billion market cap in less than a week. So the last leg of a parabola is going to be extremely profitable, yet hard to time. So buying dips during leverage wipeouts can be useful.

On the gaming front, we will continue to see gaming token launches as many top games are yet to launch their token. This will open many airdrop opportunities. But it can get less rewarding as the number of gamers will multiply quickly.
